A little about Booneman...
The idea behind Booneman slowly developed in my mind as a place where my friends and family could go during all seasons of the year to discuss their ideas and plans, get advice from one another and maybe a little bragging too. The content of the site is completely driven by people who have a passion for this kind of thing.

I should note for our female readers out there that the meaning behind the name is not intended to be chauvinistic. I chose the name because of the frontier feeling it lent to the site. So by all means women, this is a forum for everyone.

My role has been to do a little of the writing, but mainly to facilitate the discussion and to run the business end of things. This whole site has been completely hand written in order to be able to provide customized information to its members and readers.

The direction in which Booneman is going in the future will be to provide services to outdoor loving men and women which are now mainly done offline. I sincerely hope you come back often and contribute to this venture.
